Triple Chocolate Muffins= Chocolate heaven!

Triple Chocolate Chip Muffins
Triple Chocolate Chip Muffins
Why have just Regular choc-chip or even double chocolate chip muffins, when you could be having Triple Chocolate Chip muffins? That’s right, THREE times as much chocolatey goodness!

mmmmmmmmmmm…. These muffins are so good though! I think the secret ingredient is the chocolate melts chopped finely, because it makes the whole muffin richer. So not only does it look good, but it tastes even better than it looks! There is definitely nothing more disappointing than finding out, what looks like an extremely chocolate-filled muffin, has no chocolate at all!

I wonder, if it is really possible to have too much chocolate? I don’t think I ever realised just how much chocolate I consume until today whilst grocery shopping, when I was unloading the trolley I realised I had not one but FIVE blocks of chocolate in my trolley. And the worse thing is I could not even recall choosing five! I think different chocolate combinations and variations almost make them seem like five completely unrelated items. Oh well! The more the merrier I say! So get triple chocolate- baking!

Triple Chocolate Chip Muffins

Ingredients: 2 ˝ cups self-raising flour, 1/3 cup Cocoa powder, ˝ tsp bicarbonate of soda, 2/3 cup caster sugar, 1 cup Chocolate bits, 1/3 cup Chocolate melts chopped finely, 1 cup milk, 2 eggs, 150g butter melted and cooled.

Steps: Preheat the oven to moderate, 180 degrees Celsius. Add Sifted self-raising flour, cocoa powder and bicarbonate of soda to a large mixing bowl. Add the sugar, chocolate bits and chopped chocolate melts and stir well with a wooden spoon.

In a separate jug whisk together the milk, eggs, butter. Then fold this in gently into the flour mixture until just combined. The mixture will be lumpy (because of the chocolate bits). Divide amongst the muffin tins, lined with paper muffin cases.
Bake for 20-25 minutes or until a skewer poked through the centre comes out clean.

No it's not

You could make the triple chocolate one then have 3 types of chocolate chip;
- Milk Chocolate
- Dark Chocolate
- White Chocolate
So it is possible to have 5 times the chocolately goodness!
