Golden Fried Cheese

Deep-fried Cheese


I love cheese and also like to try new ways of eating them but hadn't tried deep-frying them until I came across this recipe. The heat of the oil softens the cheese considerably which contrasts really well with the crunchy crisp breadcrumbs - simple and delicious!


Ingredients:

150 Camembert or Cheddar Cheese
1 Egg Yolk
Bread Crumbs
1 oz Assorted Salad
Some Flour

Method:

1) Cut the Camembert/Cheddar cheese into roughly the same bite size pieces.

2) Roll the cheese pieces in flour and egg yolk mix and finish off with bit sprinkling of breadcrumbs.

3) Deep fry until the cheese pieces turn golden brown before garnishing with salad greens.
