at Lara's - Simple Delish Ribs

at Lara’s… Simple Delish Ribs

Great tasting tender ribs can be a difficult find or order – it can be too tough, dry or just not flavourful enough. Although, as pointed out by Arnold at Food Herald, Tony Roma's does serve up some delectable racks.

If you are however too far away from a serve of decent ribs or prefer to chomp on the ribs in the comfort of your home, try out my simple but yet yummy recipe for ribs.

What you need:
A pack of 4-6 ribs – your choice of pork or beef
1 tablespoon of Chinese Rice Wine
1 tablespoon of Hoisin Sauce
1 tablespoon of chilli bean sauce

What to do:
1…Mix all the ingredients together and leave to marinate for at least two hours.
2…Pre-heat oven to 200C/392F.
3…Place ribs on a rack in an oven-proof tray. Cover with aluminium foil and roast for about 30 minutes – cook for an additional 15-20 minutes if you're using pork ribs.
4…Remove foil, brush with remaining marinade and grill for 10-15 minutes – turning once.
5…Enjoy!

*Eat, drink & be merry*

Lara

Not a good time to read this . . . fortunately shopping day is tomorrow - unfortunately this looks all too easy and even a kitchen glutz like me is salivating . . . roll on Saturday night.

Thanks for sharing

Mmm...I might've to sell Tony Roma's my recipe. Know anyone there, Arnold? I'll give you a cut

Hope you tried it, and liked it, MNG.

Red meat has good (and necessary) vitamins too, katyzzz. Perhaps you can try it with chicken.
