Pork Chop in Beer with Chips

I love pork and I probably love my beer even more - so, why not combine the two?
Ingredients:
4 pieces of Pork Chop
1/2 Onion (chopped)
3 button mushrooms (sliced)
Garlic cloves
A few pieces of thinly sliced Carrots
A pinch of chopped Parsley
1/3 tsp Salt
1/2 Capsicum (chopped)
1/2 tbsp Sugar
1 egg (beaten)
1 tsp Flour
1/3 can of Beer
Method:
1) Season meat all over with salt, pepper and sugar.
2) Coat the pork with flour and egg.
3) Pan-fry the pork chops until golden brown on both sides. Set aside.
4) Cook the onion, garlic and mushrooms; stir well before adding the beer and parsley. Cook for a minute or two.
5) Return the pork chops to the saucepan and saute for 3 minutes. Dish up and season to taste.
