Excellent food blog, Al Dente, posted a link to a recipe on making Mountain Dew cupcakes. Ooh! Mountain Dew, the nectar of all-night gaming.
Mmm, don't they look good?
Well, apparently, they don't have much Mountain Dew in them, but that can change. How about someone whips up a batch, but overload it with more Mountain Dew.
Do the Dew!

If only I could bake - I'd change them to Mountain Dew on Mountain Dew. We can't get enough of caffeinated soda in our food. Stir-fried Jolt Cola chicken wings? Hell, yeah!
"I used a recipe from Quirky Cupcakes (ya know, the genius behind Cupcake Hero!). I tweaked it just a bit because Mt. Dew is an orange based soda, and the recipe was solely lemon/lime. I cut back on some of the lemon/lime flavor and added orange juice concentrate. They came out great!"
What we need is someone to whip up an experimental batch, then rush over to the Orble headquarters and pipeline the cupcakes to us. We're feeling sluggish and cranky - these little treats are just the thing to snap us out of this funk.
