Missing Post!

Well, here we are again. I created a new post yesterday and "voila!" it has disappeared! "My Orble" states I have three (3) posts, but alas, the latest is missing... SO, I will just have to recreate it - bare with me on that one!

But first, let me offer something of interest for those of you waiting to see what I bring to this post.
Sunset
Sunset at Playa La Mision

If you are admiring the sunset view over the beach I agree with you, Playa La Mision is a spectacular location. I relocated here twice. First, 8 years ago, rebuilding an old beach house with the intention of creating a Bed and Breakfast / Artist Retreat! but "That didn't happen," a long story for another time. The second time relocating here a little over two years ago has been an even more incredible experience, as was the event that brought me back to this romance with "The Hearts of La Mision." (More on that later) It is one of the most magical places I have ever discovered. From expats to natives, La Mision is replete with charm, character and creativity. Many artists live and create their masterpieces in the peaceful ambiance of this hidden treasure, La Mision, Baja California.

I am posting this log to "Travel" not "Food" because it is more about location than culinary examples. But believe me, they go together like Summer and Mimosas - you will discover this as we venture through Chili-Flan Offs and Bonfire Banquets, visit renowned Wine-Tastings and Tequila Shot Parties or simply - sample favorite recipes created for birthday bashes or Sunday socials. La Mision is filled with interesting personalities and as such has a reputation for being, well to say it directly ... Eccentric!

Mimosas
Mimosas at Casa de Gracia

I am working on my first actual Culinary post - a favorite of the "La Mision Gang" 'Sunset Mimosas and Midnight Mango Salsa' (SMMMS). I have been told my mango salsa is the best ever tasted and I should market it publicly. But as I am a perfectionist in the kitchen, it would take more time to create than the market would bear. So I will simply offer it up here and let you decide.

Watch for the (SMMMS) post coming soon, the Sunset Mimosas have a surprise you will not even believe!
