Making Pizza has never been so easy!

Avocado, Mushroom & Pepperoni pizza
Avocado, Mushroom & Pepperoni pizza
Did you know that Pizza Hut is the world’s #1 Pizza chain? Yes, neither did I. And did you know that Pizza Hut was the first Pizza chain to open in Australia, with the first store being opened in Belfield, Sydney, in April of 1970? Yes, of course you didn’t know! Who would? Well, there you have it, a little piece of trivia, with no real purpose, but if it ever comes up in a trivia quiz you’ll be in the know! But the best has yet to come! Under the nutrition section, they say “Pizza can be a part of a well-balanced meal”, of course they qualify it with the good old mention of “exercise” and “balanced diet”. Got to hand it to those marketeering minds, they can make anything sound healthy!

Pizza cravings anyone? Well I have the easy solution! It doesn’t even require you to take out the flour and spin dough in the air! (Although we all know you secretly want to.) No, even the most kitchen-illiterate can make this pizza. Really! No skill involved at all, besides being able to turn on an oven. And it tastes good too! Perfect if you like a crispy base! And the best thing is, you can modify the toppings as much as you want to suit your whim of the day.

Easy Avocado, Mushroom and Pepperoni Pizza

Ingredients: 4 flat Lebanese bread, 8 tbsp garlic oil, 250ml tomato paste, 1 avocado sliced, 3 mushrooms, 12 slices pepperoni, 1 cup finely grated parmesan cheese, 1 cup grated tasty cheese

Steps: Preheat the oven to moderate, 180 degrees Celsius. Spread 1 heaped tablespoon of tomato paste evenly over the surface of a Lebanese bread. Drizzle 2 tbsp of garlic oil over the top. Then spread the avocado slices, pepperoni and mushroom slices evenly over the base. Spread grated parmesan cheese generously over the top, then spread a layer of grated tasty cheese over the top and bake in a moderate oven for approximately 10 minutes.
