Chocolate chip and honeycomb cookies!

These cookies are SO amazingly delicious! And they were made by a happy chance when I had a craving for cookies as well as honeycomb, and decided to combine the two ideas together. What I love about these cookies, besides the taste, is their lovely gooey texture. I kept trying to think *Mrs Fields*! And I think that must really be the key! Thinking soft gooey cookie thoughts whilst cooking! Haha
You’ll notice when shaping the teaspoonfuls of mixture onto trays that your batter appears to be 90% honeycomb and chocolate and that shaping tablespoonfuls of the mixture can be slightly harder to roll due to this content. However, once the cookies are baked, you’ll notice that all that ‘cookie dough rising’ seem to even itself out! Mmmmm… delicious! Especially when served warm.
Chocolate chip and honeycomb cookies!
Ingredients: 125g butter softened, ½ cup caster sugar, ½ cup brown sugar lightly packed, ½ tsp vanilla, 1 egg lightly beaten, 1 ¾ cup self-raising flour, pinch of salt, ¼ cup milk chocolate chips, 6 x mini Cadbury Crunchie honeycomb chocolate bars chopped roughly
Steps: Preheat the oven to 180 degrees Celsius. Cream together butter, sugars and vanilla. Add the egg gradually, beating well after each addition, then mix in sifted flour an salt. Add chocolate chips and chopped honeycomb and mix. Shape tablespoonfuls of mixture into balls and place on oven trays lined with greaseproof paper, allow room for spreading. Bake for 10-12 minutes. The cookies will be rather gooey when you take them out of the oven, so leave them to cool for 10 minutes before eating!
