French omelette with Cheese and Ham

Cheese and Ham French Omelette

This simple yet delightful recipe is just too easy to make!

Whether it's for breakfast or a quick lunch, you can't beat scrambled eggs in an omelette with cheese and ham, French-style!

I don't know about you, but it sure beats a regular ham and cheese sandwich any day of the week!

Ingredients:

1 tablespoon of sliced Ham
1 tablespoon of Cheese
1/2 tablespoon of Chopped Onion
1/2 Cup of Cream
1 teaspoon of Butter
2 eggs
Salt (to taste)

Method:

1) Beat eggs lightly; add salt and cream.

2) Melt butter in pan over medium high heat.

3) Saute ham and onions then pour eggs mixture in pan; shape omelette as you stir. Cook until egg mixture is almost set.

4) Add cheese and roll omelette.

Slide omelette onto plate and serve hot!

not trying to be a pain in the bum...(ok so I am a pain in the bum...)..but, you forgot to put the onions under the "method" cooking instructions!

and what heat the stove?...and what is the best method of creating the omlette shape? Is it wait till set underneath and flop one half over the other, or is it toss into the air and hope you catch it? The method you describe sounds a little vague and the novice is likely to make scrambled omlette. I admit I do that too often myself.

anyway...warned you I was a pain in the bum...sorry...but, I like getting new, easy, quick and tasty recipes!

Oh, and low fat and diabetic friendly ones, that are still tasty and easy, would be good too!

cheers

AHAH! Now it is better...thanks Arnold...

However, one question; should one saute the onion slightly longer than the ham, so onion first, then after a few minutes on medium heat, the ham?

cheers

and it does sound tasty too!

please don't hate me...too much... for my pedanticism!!
