Bananarama Banana Bread!

Bananarama Banana Bread!
Bananarama Banana Bread!

You know how sometimes you just get insatiable food cravings? Well I’ve had banana bread cravings for over a week now.. almost reaching the point where random foods were starting to look like banana bread, so I decided to take affirmative action today and to get my banana fix!

This is one really satisfying banana bread recipe! Moist and packed with bananas! When you mix your ingredients together you’ll see what I’m talking about when I say you feel like you’re basically just baking bananas! It’s also a pleasant sweetness! And you don’t need to add butter to eat it if you don’t want to either because it tastes great as is!

Bananarama Banana Bread

Ingredients: 2 cups plain flour, 1 tsp baking powder, ¼ tsp salt, ½ cup vegetable oil, ¾ cup brown sugar, 2 eggs, 2 cups mashed ripe bananas (approximately 5 large bananas)

Steps: Preheat the oven to 170 degrees Celsius and lightly grease/line with baking paper a 9 x 5 inch loaf pan.

Combine the flour, baking soda, salt and sugar in a large bowl. Add the eggs and vegetable oil and stir well to combine. Add the mashed bananas to the mixture and mix to combine using a wooden spoon. Pour the batter into the prepared loaf pan.
Mixing and mashing

Bake in the preheated oven for 60-65 minutes or until the bread is golden and a skewer inserted into the centre of the loaf comes out clean. Leave bread to cool in pan for 5 minutes before turning out onto a wire rack.
Baked banana bread freshness!
